The Cursed

Sent from the ark to look for signs of life. Your
back-and-forth trips from the ark mimic
the hovering of your Creator across the face of the
deep. Some believe you never returned because you
were tempted by floating carcasses. Others believe
you represented the final receding of the flood waters
because the you only ceased your flight when the
water receded. Yet, still Noah cursed you. You had
failed to return and show him that it was safe. This
curse still lingers. Without reason many resent your
very presence to this day.
